Practice Closure for Staff Training
 
From 12:30 to 18:30 on Tuesday 30th April 2024, this practice will be closed for important clinical education and training purposes.
 
Emergency cover will be provided, please telephone 111 to access these services:
• Telephone Triage
• Face-to-face appointments at Drovers House in Bury St Edmunds
 
Repeat prescription requests will not be dealt with during these times so please ensure sufficient notice is given to enable your practice to provide these for you prior to practice closure dates.

Introducing 'Anima' - Our New Online Consultation System

Reynard Surgery are pleased to annouce an update to our online service. On Monday 15th January 2024 we will be launching Anima a new system that will be replacing our eConsult service.
 
More information is available on the Anima website patients.animahealth.com. We encourage you to register now ready for our launch date, you only need your email address to do this.
 
Anima seamlessly and confidently integrates with your medical record bringing improvements to how you access care and appointments and how our staff assess your condition.
 
Anima allows our Clinical Triage Team to continue to improve access times by helping us direct you to the most appropriate care for your medical needs. All appointments will continue to be offered according to clinical urgency and need.

Joint BAAPS/BOMSS statement on surgical tourism

The significant increase in numbers of patients travelling abroad for both aesthetic and bariatric (weight loss) surgery has been linked with consequent serious complications and even deaths. BAAPS and BOMSS, the aesthetic and bariatric UK surgical societies are making this unprecedented joint statement due to our concerns for patient welfare and safety.
